Downtown transit study open house
Share your feedback on plans for corridor
Learn more about a possible starter transit line for downtown Kansas City, Mo. Come to an open house June 21 from 4–6:30 p.m. at the Central Branch of the Kansas City Public Library (14 W. 10th St., Helzberg Auditorium). Brief, identical presentations will be given at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. The city is working with the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority, the Mid-America Regional Council and Jackson County, Mo., to evaluate route and mode alternatives.

The Central Library parking garage is located directly west of the Central Library building on the northwest corner of 10th and Baltimore. The cost to park Monday through Friday is free for the first hour with validation from library staff. Cost is $1 every 20 minutes (or portion thereof) after the first validated hour, with a maximum charge per day of $8. Parking after 5 p.m. on weekdays is $2.
